Dr. Mary W. Edmonds

Doctor

Dr. Mary W. Edmonds grew up in Mobile. She attended St. Luke’s School and St. Paul’s School. She graduated from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2014, she joined the team at Spring Hill Animal Clinic and in 2017, she became part owner of the business. She is married and has a son and a daughter. Morris is her chocolate fur-baby lab who she rescued at one week of age and bottled raised. Minnie is her cat she rescued out of the road with a broken leg as a kitten. And Bruce is her French bulldog with an attitude. Her focus in the clinic is medicine and ophthalmology. You may spot her at Dauphin Island or Sand Island biking, relaxing and enjoying some sunshine.


Dr. Mandy Moss Alston

Dr. Mandy Moss Alston was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La and graduated from LSU Veterinary School. She moved to Mobile about 5 years ago with her husband. She has 2 children, a husband, and a dog Fred. She loves what she does and strives to provide quality veterinary care. She particularly enjoys internal medicine and dentistry. Dr, Alston has worked for Spring Hill Animal Clinic since 2012, and in 2017 became part owner in the business


Dr. Daniel Hernandez

Dr. Hernandez was born in Killeen, TX but grew up in New Brockton, AL. He completed his undergraduate studies at Troy University. He then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2007-2011 and is an alumnus brother of the Theta Chapter of Alpha Psi veterinary fraternity. After graduation, Dr. Hernandez entered a mixed animal practice in Vernon, AL (85% small animal/15% large animal) from June of 2011 through June of 2015. While in Vernon, Dr. Hernandez was also on the board of the Lamar County Cattlemen’s Association. In his first year of practice he became co-owner/partner and the sole practitioner of the clinic. In the six months leading up to taking over as Tillman’s Corner Veterinary Hospital’s sole practitioner and practice manager, Dr. Hernandez practiced in a “relief veterinarian” capacity, performing surgery, preventative medicine and general practice, in multiple small animal clinics across Alabama. He worked at Tillman’s Corner for 7 years before moving on and joining our team here at Spring Hill in July of 2022.

Dr. Hernandez is married to his beautiful wife, Stephany, a local real estate agent and member of The Key Performance Team, and together they have a son, Lexton, as well as two dogs, Maggie, and Frank. Dr. Hernandez also keeps and breeds Royal Pythons, a.k.a. Ball Pythons. What began as two has grown to almost 30! Dr. Hernandez breeds pet quality rats as a food source for his reptiles.

Dr. Hernandez has rapidly become a valuable addition, and we are thankful and blessed to have him! Feel free to come by and meet Dr. Hernandez, or better yet, schedule an appointment so that your pets can meet him, too!


Sydney Roberts

Receptionist

Sydney Roberts a 2015 graduate of Citronelle High School. She joined the Army National Guard, which she is currently serving still. She is involved in the military honor guard and funeral services. Sydney has been married for 2 years. She has a wonderful son and expecting another son in May. She is currently working part-time as a receptionist at Springhill Animal Clinic where she enjoys getting to know the clients and their pets. Sydney enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
