Dr. Mary W. Edmonds
Dr. Mary W. Edmonds grew up in Mobile. She attended St. Luke’s School and St. Paul’s School. She Graduated from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2014, she joined the team at Spring Hill Animal Clinic and in 2017, she became part owner of the business. She is married and has a son and a daughter. Morris is her chocolate fur-baby lab who she rescued at one week of age and bottled raised. Minnie is her cat she rescued out of the road with a broken leg as a kitten. And Bruce is her French bulldog with an attitude. Her focus in the clinic is medicine and ophthalmology. You may spot her at Dauphin Island or Sand Island biking, relaxing and enjoying some sunshine.
Dr. Mandy Moss Alston
Dr. Mandy Moss Alston was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La and graduated from LSU Veterinary School. She moved to Mobile about 5 years ago with my husband. She has 2 children, a husband, and a dog Fred. I love what I do and strive to provide quality veterinary care. She particularly enjoys internal medicine and dentistry. Dr, Alston has worked for Spring Hill Animal Clinic since 2012, and in 2017 became part owner in the business
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Harley Hart is a licensed veterinary technician. She has been with Spring Hill Animal Clinic since April 2016. She graduated from Faulkner State Community College in May 2016. She lives with 10 animal creatures and 1 human creature, and is still working on domesticating the human creature. When I get home from work I love on my 2 dogs, 4 kitties, 4 bunnies, and a boyfriend. When I am not caring for you adorable pets at the clinic, you could find me reading, watching anime, eating potatoes in any form, or dying my hair. Currently, I have a teal mohawk, but come back next week to see if it is different!
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Taylor White is originally from Birmingham, Al. She moved to mobile to complete Coastal Alabama”s Veterinary Technician Program. Taylor worked at SHAC to get her clinical hours as a student and soon after joined the team. She graduated in May 2018 and became a licensed Technician in Dec. 2018! In her spare time, she likes to run, cook, soak up some sun at the beach and explore the world. She has 2 pets a the time being: Roxy, a stubborn, loyal Puggle and a kitty named Stella, but she is certain her fur family will grow. Taylor’s motto: ” Is it really work when you love what you do this much?”

Tara is a local Mobilian. She has a loving husband and a sweet daughter, as well as a spoiled, fluffy cat named Kovu. Tara enjoys reading, movies, and everything Disney. She is here to help answer your questions on the phone, schedule appointments, fill out any paper work, get you your pet’s prevention…. well you get the idea; the list goes on & on. AND SHE DOES IT WITH A SMILE. She really helps the office run smoothly. Thanks for being part of the team Tara.
Rachel, known as Rae in the clinic, was born and raised right here in Mobile. She and her husband, as well as their 2 darling sons, have always loved animals. Their furbabies include Max and Xena their pitties, that are sweet as can be, and Ally Cat. Rachel is dedicated to help you and your fur family receive the best care and always has a friendly smile! She answers the phones to schedule appointments, helps with paperwork, answers general questions about your pet’s health, does clerical office work, ect. Rachel is ready to be there for you and your family’s needs!
Sydney Roberts a 2015 graduate of Citronelle High School. She joined the Army National Guard, which she is currently serving still. She is involved in the military honor guard and funeral services. Sydney has been married for 2 years. She has a wonderful son and expecting another son in May. She is currently working part time as a receptionist at Springhill Animal Clinic where she enjoys getting to know the clients and their pets. Sydney enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
Rachel Laymen, known in the clinic as R-2; has several dogs, cats & chickens. Her dogs are Smokey a Blue Healer, Curly a Boykin Spaniel and Hannah a Rat Terrier. She loves to take them on walks and play fetch with them. Her cats live the life being pampered. Her hobbies are eating pasta, reading books, watching movies, and deer hunting, and horse back riding. One day R2 hopes to have a pet cow. Rachel can usually be is seen in the clinic helping with exams or invoicing and calling surgery cases. We appreciate your hard work and dedication R2.
Jackie has been a veterinary assistant for about 15 years. She has a Bachelors in Science in Geology from the University of South Alabama. She is a mother to 2 kids and 4 fur babies. She also has snakes. In her free time she likes to monitor earthquakes from a seismometer located at USA. She also loves fishing and hanging out with friends.
Stephanie Ritchie joined our team in November 2019. She was born and raised here in Mobile and is where she currently resides. Stephanie has two beautiful little boys she is raising along with 3 dogs (an 11 year old maltipoo, 2 year old german shepard and a 16 week old rescue puppy) and 2 cats. She has eight years of veterinary experience and has enjoyed every minute she gets working with animals. She attended the University of Mobile, studying nursing but decided that veterinary medicine is where her heart is. In her spare time she loves to spend as much time with her family as possible along with working as a licensed Realtor in the state of Alabama.
Lee has been on the Gulf Coast most of her life, and has always loved animals. There’s only been a few short times that she didn’t have at least 3 or more at a time!! She currently have 9 bullies, a couple of chickens, and a very busy toddler!!
Her hobbies include reading, traveling, cooking, knitting, quilting, fishing, and enjoying the gulf coast’s phenomenal sunsets and seafood – and of course Alabama Football!!
Every day is a good day at Spring Hill Animal Clinic; She loves her coworkers, that have become more than just coworkers in such a short time.
Tara joined our team in July 2017. A former Navy wife, she lived in Florida for 11 years and recently settled back in her hometown of Mobile. When she’s not at work, Tara enjoys reading, movies, everything Disney, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She currently has one cat, Kovu, who she bottle fed at 3 weeks. He is now 13 and completely spoiled! She is here to help answer your questions on the phone, schedule appointments, fill out any paperwork, get your pet’s prevention…well, you get the idea; the list goes on and on—and SHE DOES IT ALL WITH A SMILE!
